The 4500 series completes the range of Valpadana “low-power” equal-wheeled tractors. While compact in design, the 4500 tractors are high added-value vehicles that provide superior performance and unique technical features.
Supplied in a variety of configurations, they are ideally suited for use in intensive crops such as orchards and vineyards, in glasshouses and nurseries, for the maintenance of green areas and for farm management tasks.
These ultra-compact tractors belong to the 25-40 HP power bracket. They offer silent engines that respect the environment, a powerful oil-cooled multiple-plate braking system, synchronized transmission with 8 FWD + 4 REV speeds and completely independent PTO with dedicated oil-cooled multiple-plate clutch.
The chassis of all the 4500 series tractors is particularly sturdy and well made. Along with the high lifting capacity, it is perfectly able to work with heavy implements in the utmost safety. Particular attention has been paid to the steering system, which features a steering cylinder built into the housing. Besides providing record-breaking steering angles, there’s no need for the usual coupling bar between the front wheels.
The cockpit with its instrument turret, positionable steering wheel with transmission levers at the side, half-platform and all controls set in ergonomic positions make these tractors safe and comfortable in every situation.
The version with oversized wheels (VRM) provides increased lugging power for non-stop operation in all conditions. The center of gravity is low, since only the rear final drives slant upwards, while the manoeuvring radius is one of the tightest for machines of this kind.
VRM has been designed for use in medium-sized orchards and vineyards and, when equipped with the draft and position control functions, really shows its prowess when working with ploughs, spring-loaded tine cultivators and grubbers.
